Fujian's delegation recently embarked on a fruitful visit to Indonesia where they met with Indonesian political leaders and local Fujianese businesspeople, promoted the province's business environment and inspected local enterprises in a bid to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
The delegation took charge of hosting the China (Fujian) – Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, on May 9.
This event welcomed the signing of 21 projects worth 43.2 billion yuan ($6.2 billion), marking a great stride in the cooperation between the two regions in trade and commerce.
Indonesia is Fujian province's largest trading partner and largest foreign investment destination in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). As the China – Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" project lands in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian, the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides is expected to gain positive results.
