Quzhou Tea-drinking Day Festival

Quzhou Tea-drinking Day Festival has been held in November for two consecutive years since 2017.
The festival is hosted by the China International Tea Culture Institute and Zhejiang Tea Culture Institute. Highlights for the festival include cultural performances, exhibitions and expert forums.
The tea industry plays an important role in the agricultural development of Quzhou. Its tea growing can be dated back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). In 2017, the tea planting scale was more than 13,713 hectares, with the annual production of 8,242 tons worth 1.1 billion yuan ($161 million).
