The Nansha branch of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) successfully completed power supply installation on May 10, laying a solid foundation for trial operation in June this year.
The branch adopts a multi-loop power supply with 22 new distribution transformers and four high-voltage motors. The total capacity of its electrical equipment is capable of reaching 34,388 kVA.
During the construction period, Nansha's power supply bureau introduced a digital and visualized management and control model that will oversee the entire process. Through smart control, supervision and power delivery, along with regular automated drone patrols, the project's power supply was delivered three months ahead of schedule.
The branch has a total land area of 103,000 square meters and a construction area of 378,000 sq m. It also features five towers, two basements, and five podium floors, including meeting rooms, scientific research laboratories, teaching rooms, as well as dormitories.
When completed, the hospital will raise the overall level of medical services in Nansha district. Nansha is set to become a medical highland that will contribute to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
