Established in 2019, The Zhuhai Traditional Chinese Orchestra has been dedicated to creating traditional Chinese orchestra works that feature distinctive Guangdong elements, similar to the symphonic suite titled Bougainvillea and Lotus Flowers.
The Zhuhai Traditional Chinese Orchestra Music Season was first held in 2022 and carried out music and culture exchange events with other cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as with countries alongside the Belt and Road. It is envisioned to be a cultural calling card for Zhuhai City.
This year's music season will stage 10 high-quality performances through year end to bring music closer to Zhuhai residents. Additionally, famous conductors such as Zhang Lie, Zhang Guoyong, and Li Fubin, have been invited to participate in the season.
