A high-end forum on high-quality energy industry development was successfully held in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on May 6.
The forum is part of the 17th Ordos International Coal and Energy Industry Expo, a world-class exchange and cooperation platform for the energy industry.
Academicians and experts from the National Energy Administration, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences, and Norwegian Academy of Sciences delivered speeches at the forum.
The speeches focused on "Key Points of China's Energy Development," "Energy Strategy and High-Quality Development of New Coal Businesses under the New Situation," "Key Technology and Application of Intelligent Coal Mine and Drainage System," and "Research on Glass Fiber Pipes of Coal Mine Intelligent Technology."

They jointly discussed China's energy development situation and the theory and technology of safe, efficient, and green coal mining.
They also conducted in-depth exchanges on the development path of the modern coal chemical industry with the goal of carbon neutrality. They contributed intelligent solutions to promoting the coal chemical industry's high-end, diversified, and low-carbon development.
Attendees generally believed that the high-quality scientific development of the coal industry is of great significance. As a key energy base of the country, Ordos must work hard on transforming and upgrading its coal industry.
