Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has been advancing the construction of industrial complexes to help bring in manufacturing projects in recent years.
The district is currently home to four industrial complexes with a combined floorage of 1.06 million square meters.
One of them is the Eastern Intelligence Valley, which started construction last February and will cover an area of 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares).
Located in the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone, the complex will focus on bringing in projects related to emerging industries, such as new-generation information technology and high-end equipment manufacturing.
According to authorities, the complex will consist of an exhibition hall, an innovation and entrepreneurship center, a meeting center, and staff canteens.
The exhibition hall of the complex has already opened and has started bringing in projects.
Wu Xianghua, general manager of the Easting Intelligence Valley, said that the complex has so far introduced 11 enterprises, which are expected to have an annual turnover of 1.5 billion yuan ($218.89 million).
