Quzhou launches collection activity for slogan translation

To welcome the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou and give the world a deep understanding of traditional Chinese culture, Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province launched the collection activity "International Expression of Quzhou Humanistic Spirit in the New Era".

The collection is open to units, groups, organizations, and individuals.

Content of collection:

English, French, Russian, Spanish and Arabic translations of the following Chinese "新时代衢州人文精神：崇贤有礼、开放自信、创新争先" are collected. And describe Quzhou in your eyes in 300 to 500 words with the understanding of the humanistic spirit of Quzhou in the new era.

Requests:

All works participating in the collection are required to have clear semantics, fluent writing, catchy language, conform to the image of Quzhou, and be infectious and appealing.

Each contributor is required to describe Quzhou in his/her eyes in 300 to 500 words based on his/her understanding of Quzhou's humanistic spirit in the new era, and corresponding Chinese is required.

Awards:

One best translation award will be given for each of the five languages, with a bonus of 20,000 yuan ($2,893) each, totaling 100,000 yuan. Five finalist awards will be given for each of the five languages, with a bonus of 1,000 yuan for each, totaling 250,000 yuan.

All bonuses are pre-tax amounts, and the relevant taxes and fees for the winner's bonus are borne by the individual.
