The 2021 fifth China-Arab States Expo will be held from August 19 to 22, in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

Initiated in 2013, the China-Arab States Expo has become an open international platform facilitating the economic cooperation between China and Arab states, as well as other economies taking part in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People’s government of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, the expo has been held four times in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
The fourth China-Arab States Expo took place from Sept 5 to 8, 2019, and more than 2,900 regional organizations, business associations, and enterprises from 89 countries and regions took part. The expo also featured a number of exhibitions that displayed high-tech innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence, aerospace, new energy and Internet Plus healthcare to showcase the latest achievements in China-Arab sci-tech cooperation.
A total of 362 projects were signed during the expo, covering the fields of modern agriculture, new technologies, equipment manufacturing, infrastructure, capacity cooperation, and tourism. The investment and trade volume of the expo totaled 185.42 billion yuan ($26.45 billion).
