Sichuan's GDP rises 3.8% YoY in Q1

In the first quarter of 2023, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Sichuan province reached nearly 1.34 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.8% at comparable prices, according to Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics.

At the same time, the added value of the primary industry was 84.01 billion yuan, an increase of 3.3%; the added value of the secondary industry was 457.98 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.9%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 795.48 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7%.
