Jinpu welcomes new business entities in record high number

Jinpu New Area has welcomed 6,696 newly signed-up market entities in the first quarter of this year, with 3,340 being new enterprises. As of Q1, there were 231,700 market players in Jinpu, an increase of 5.54 percent from the previous year. Additionally, the number of enterprises in Jinpu has exceeded 100,000, with a year-on-year increase of 5.56 percent, reaching a new high. 

Out of the 231,700 registered market entities, 130,700 were self-employed households, which is a 5.51 percent year-on-year increase. Domestic enterprises reached 97,800, increasing by 5.78 percent from the previous year, including 91,000 private domestic enterprises and 620 professional cooperative agencies for farmers, reporting year-on-year increases of 5.58 percent and 3.16 percent, respectively.

The number of registered entities in the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries were 7,300, 24,700, and 199,700, respectively, with corresponding year-on-year growth rates of 12.98 percent, 5.44 percent, and 5.03 percent.

Since 2019, the number of enterprises has increased significantly, with an average annual growth of nearly 8,000 enterprises per year.
