The 32nd Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair is scheduled to be held in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on Jun 15-19.
The fair is jointly sponsored by the China Chamber of International Commerce, the Harbin municipal government, the Heilongjiang Provincial Commerce Department, and the Heilongjiang Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
This year's fair is themed on "building a new high-level opening-up platform and sharing new opportunities for high-quality development."
It aims to build a Sino-Russian regional economic and trade exchange platform, and build a high-level opening-up cooperation platform to the north.
Major activities will be held during the fair, such as the first China-Russia Regional Economic and Trade Investment Cooperation Conference, an opening ceremony, as well as more than 40 other activities.
Belarus and South Korea have both been invited as guest countries, Guangdong province as a guest province, Shenzhen as a guest city, and Heihe city as the themed city.
The total on-site exhibition area will cover 60,000 square meters, in which six major exhibition areas will be set up.
These areas include the Sino-Russian regional economic and trade cooperation exhibition area; the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and international exhibition area; the provincial, regional and municipal cooperation exhibition area; the industrial cooperation exhibition area; the Heilongjiang vitalization exhibition area; and the machinery equipment exhibition area.
The fair's online channels, which include the fair's official website and the "Easy Exhibition" app, will provide such services as investment promotions, exhibition displays, supply and purchase matchmaking services, and live streams of the conferences.
