Wuxi Sharks Esports Club and Wuxi KoneEsports Club signed agreements to become a part of the esports industry base in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District (Xinwu district) on April 21.

Wuxi Sharks Esports Club won second place in the Esports World Cup in 2018. Four members of the club have qualified for the Hangzhou Asian Games China national team selection.
Wuxi KoneEsports Club focuses on MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) and FPS (First-Person Shooter) games. Its business includes team operations, marketing, and live broadcasts.
Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of WND, said that Xinwu district has in recent years introduced supportive policies, built industrial bases, and trained talents to develop the esports industry. He expressed hope that both clubs can help attract more projects to the district.
