A promotional conference for the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Zone in East China's Jiangsu province, was held in Shanghai on April 20.
The conference was attended by many foreign enterprises and service institutions, including CBRE Group, Jones Lang LaSalle, Savills, and PwC.
The event is aimed at convincing more foreign enterprises to invest in the zone and boost its high-quality development.
Gao Hongjun, a member of the CPC Tongzhou Standing Committee, said during the event that the zone has been improving its mechanism for attracting investment, as well as the services provided to enterprises.
He expressed hope that more foreign enterprises and service institutions will invest in the zone and share in development opportunities.
According to an announcement at the event, the district sees an open economy as an important driver of high-quality development.
To date, the district has attracted investment from several Fortune Global 500 enterprises, such as Ikea and Amphenol ACS.
The event also witnessed an award ceremony for global partners of the NHIZ investment promotion.
