Huangpu leads Guangzhou's integrated circuit industry

Huangpu district, in Guangzhou, has become a hub for over 200 upstream and downstream enterprises in the integrated circuit industry, accounting for over 90 percent of the industry in the city. 

On April 18, the district hosted the 2023 China Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Conference and Supply Chain Innovation Forum. It brought together nearly 1,000 professionals to discuss fostering a new development stage and building a new pattern for chip development. 

Huangpu is taking the lead in China's integrated circuit industry, with a complete integrated circuit industry chain. 

The district is working towards developing more high-end technology, and promoting a development plan to create more specialized hubs within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. 

Huangpu is also deeply involved in the construction of the technological innovation system and has attracted many integrated circuit expert teams and professionals to promote the industry's core technologies and frontier basic research.
