The Nanyue Kingdom palace site was discovered in 1975 in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province. Relics of 13 historical periods from the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC) to the Republic of China (1911-1949) have been excavated at the site.

The Guizhou Ethnic Museum kicked off an exhibit of archaeological finds at the Nanyue Kingdom palace site on April 18, showcasing 85 cultural relics and auxiliary pictures. They present the excavation process of the site, the core status of the site throughout history and on the Maritime Silk Road. The exhibit will run through June 18.
