The Zhuhai delegation, comprising 176 enterprises, has a total of 554 on-site booths at the 133rd China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), which kicked off in Guangzhou on Saturday and runs through May 5.
These enterprises mainly engage in leading industries such as consumer electronics, home appliances and electronics, and electrical engineering. Fifty-three members of the delegation are from national hi-tech enterprises. They showcase Zhuhai's power in sci-tech innovation to the domestic and overseas markets.
Of note, this session of Canton fair focuses on high-quality development. It is also the first session to have resumed on-site exhibitions after the three-year fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tong Min, of China Electronics Zhuhai, noted that the enterprise has been attending the Canton Fair since its 62rd session. The enterprise now has high expectations as the on-site exhibitions have resumed.
Gree Electric Appliances showcases more than 100 electric appliances for household and business application onsite at the Pazhou Complex. It has also set up online exhibition platforms, virtual reality exhibition halls, and 72-hour live stream rooms to showcase its core green technologies, according to Wang Jing, a staff member of the company.
Additionally, starred chefs have been invited to utilize Gree products to cook delicious dishes for visitors. Other interesting interactive activities that will take place at the Gree booth include traditional Chinese instrument performances and lucky draws.

Fu Qinghui of Zhuhai Elec-Tech International noted that most of their previous foreign trade orders could only be handled online due to the pandemic. Fu went further to state that the Canton Fair provides an excellent opportunity for the enterprise to meet with its global customers.
This is the first time that Zhuhai Comking Electric - a specialized, elaborative, characteristic, and emerging "little giant" (small and medium-sized) enterprise - has attended the Canton Fair, said Wang Youle, of the enterprise's intelligent energy department.
Wang added that the enterprise is expected to meet more customers and showcase the charm of Zhuhai's new energy enterprises at the fair.
The Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce has set up a special work group to provide considerate services to participating enterprises. These include paying on-site visits, offering guidance, organizing trainings, and providing network technical support.
In addition, during the event, the delegation offers 24-hour network support services for enterprises to ensure smooth operation.
Wang Wei, head of the Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce, put forward that Zhuhai will launch a series of policies and measures to boost the development of foreign trade, striving to promote the city's high-quality development.
Over 35,000 enterprises from China and abroad are attending this year's on-site Canton Fair, setting a historical high in both exhibition area and number of participating enterprises.
