A booming art scene is supported not only by those who create, but also those who know how to organize galleries, museums and other related entities, and how to present art so that more people can benefit from it.
In light of China's increasing demand of such skills, the Central Academy of Fine Arts founded School of Arts Administration and Education 20 years ago, having cultivated professionals in the area and reaching out to institutions abroad for collaborations.
A recent two-day forum at CAFA celebrated and reviewed the school's efforts in arts administration over the past two decades, and gathered figures at home and abroad to contribute ideas for better art management in the country.
