Three tourist attractions located in Hohhot – capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – were recently selected in the first group of autonomous region-level intangible cultural heritage tourism experience bases.

That's according to the region's culture and tourism department, which listed the attractions as the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Exhibition Hall, Monishan Intangible Heritage Town and the Yellow River Maiye Valley Ecological Leisure Tourism Area.

The exhibitions hall, a national 3A-level tourist attraction, was established in 1987. It is located on the south side of Jingguan Avenue on Xinhua Street and is a cultural landmark in the city.

It cooperates with various intangible cultural heritage-related exhibitions to carry out inheritance experience activities, using a combination of on-site and online methods and the cumulative number of visitors has now reached 30,000.

The Yellow River Maiye Valley Ecological Leisure Tourist Area is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a pastoral complex, located in Togtoh county.
