The Sanwan reading room in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, has been listed among the most beautiful reading rooms in the Yangtze River Delta region, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced on March 29.
Located along the Grand Canal, the reading room features waterside pavilions where readers can admire the pleasant sceneries of the canal.
The 280-square-meter reading room boasts a collection of nearly 20,000 books, 30 types of magazines and newspapers, as well as digital resources, including 300,000 electronic books and 38 databases.
The reading room is also the city's first wetland park-themed public cultural venue.
