Schneider Electric, a world leader in digital automation and energy management, held a launch ceremony for its new research and development (R&D) center in Xinwu district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on March 29.
The automation R&D center is the fifth of its kind established by Schneider Electric in China. It will focus on developing next-generation industrial automation products and automated energy management.
Forty engineers will first work in the R&D center, with the headcount expected to grow to 100 by the end of the year.
