A delegation of more than 70 entrepreneurs from Hong Kong paid a return visit to Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on March 20.
One month ago, Wuxi lifted the curtain on its global promotional campaign by sending a delegation to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Sheng Minli, standing vice-chairman of the Jiangsu Women's Federation in Hong Kong, said that more Wuxi and Jiangsu entrepreneurs in Hong Kong signed up for the trip to Wuxi than expected.
The Hong Kong entrepreneurs' trip in Wuxi was not only in celebration of 2023 Wuxi International Month and the International Cherry Blossom Festival, but also for business negotiations.
They will talk with local authorities and business representatives about projects involving subways, hydrogen energy vehicles, sewage treatment, and more to further promote cooperation between Hong Kong and Wuxi in trade and environmental protection.
Over the past few years, Wuxi's Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong has not only maintained strong exchanges with Wuxi, but also communicated with the city's chambers of commerce in other countries and regions, such as Japan and the United States, to improve Wuxi's international profile.
