Bama, Donglan see boom in bookings for Sanyuesan Festival

The Song Festival, also known as the Sanyuesan Festival, will fall on April 22. Tourism bookings for Donglan county and Bama Yao autonomous county have seen a noticeable surge for the upcoming holiday.

The main sources of the bookings are people from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Shantou, Nanning, and Anhui. Hundreds of hotels and homestays in Donglan and Bama are now either fully booked, or close to it.

Donglan, Bama and Fengshan are world's hometowns of longevity. The negative oxygen ions in the air here are as high as 30,000 to 160,000 per cubic centimeter, 20 times that of Guangzhou. Donglan is also known as the hometown of Chinese herbal medicine, a livable climate county in China, and a demonstration county for wellness and sleep in China.

The preferred flight destinations for tourists in these locations are Baise Bama Airport and Hechi Jinchengjiang Airport, followed by Nanning Wuwei Airport. The best stop for tourists who are traveling by high-speed train is Baise Station.
