The launch of the second Baotou Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition recently took place in Baotou, and is now soliciting projects. Applicants can sign up via the Haichuang Valley network.
Since the first competition was launched in May last year, a total of 103 projects from home and abroad have registered to compete, and three related sub-competitions have been held in Wuhan, Suzhou and Ningbo cities.
Focusing on semiconductors, new energy, new materials, new generation information technology, industrial internet and other industrial fields, this year's competition will solicit high-level entrepreneurship projects with core competitiveness and growth potential from all over the world.
The current competition's schedule includes precision industry research, a sub-competition in Shanghai, a sub-competition in Xi'an, a global video sub-competition, as well as the finals and an awards ceremony.
After winning and project implementation begins in Baotou, the project will receive support funding worth 3 million yuan ($435,656), office land, production plants, energy subsidies and a series of preferential policies.
At the same time, the winning project will enjoy follow-up services, such as financing connections, incubation, market resource introduction, policy interpretation services, and project application guidance provided by the Saichuang Future (Baotou) International Talent Science and Innovation Center.
