Hailing Industrial Park promotes scientific innovation upgrading

Hailing Industrial Park – located in Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is pushing hard to promote its transformation and upgrading, thus making it become a scientific and innovative zone.

Recently, Hailing district was selected as a key region for promoting the transformation, upgrading, and innovative development of economic development zones, with Hailing Industrial Park serving as the main area for new projects and economic development in the district.

To accelerate industrial digitization, the park has established a network information security center and moved to promote 5G services.

At present, eight resident companies have been honored as provincial intelligent factories, such as Taizhou Lg Electronics Refrigeration Co Ltd and Jiangsu Yunyong Electronics and Technology Co Ltd. Jiangsu Jinqiao Welding Materials Technology Co Ltd was named a provincial "green" factory.

New platforms have also been established to support scientific innovation, such as the park's talent plaza and the science and technology innovation community.

Last year, the park's high-tech industry saw its output value hit 12.6 billion yuan ($1.83 billion), accounting for 65 percent of the total industrial output value above a designated size and exceeding the average level in Taizhou as a whole.
