Guiyang, Guian's project promoted nationwide

The Ministry of Service and Trade Development of the State Council recently announced 25 pilot projects to accelerate the innovation and development of trade in services. The "Exploring the Construction of the Digital Silk Road Trading Port" project, which was submitted by Guiyang and Guian New Area, was selected and promoted nationwide.

This project is an innovative development model for Guiyang and Guian to explore the construction of a digital Silk Road international data port. Both locations will utilize the project to build a national computing power support base, as well as promote the high-quality development of their service trade.

In recent years, the scale of the service trade in Guiyang has expanded, with the total volume accounting for nearly 95 percent of the province's total, and the revenue from software enterprises accounting for nearly 95 percent.

Last year, the import and export of telecommunication, computers, and information services in Guiyang developed rapidly, with a year-on-year growth of 191.9 percent. At present, Guiyang boasts two provincial-level digital service export bases and two provincial-level key digital service export enterprises.

Next, Guiyang will innovate its service trade, led by the digital economy, and cultivate all kinds of new business models.
