The newly upgraded regular exhibition space at the Shanxi Museum in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, will open to the public on Saturday, the museum said on Monday.
More than 3,400 exquisite cultural relics, including 1,238 that are being displayed for the first time, will illustrate the profound culture of ancient times in the Shanxi region, the museum said.
Among the relics are a number of precious artifacts unearthed at different historical sites across the province.
A type of anti-reflection glass is being used for the display cases so that visitors have an excellent visual experience.
