A sci-tech innovation pioneer forum took place on March 22 in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai.
At the event, the municipal government released a list of positions and people that are urgently needed in Lin-gang's major sci-tech industries. It also unveiled the foundation plaque of a new financial sci-tech service center and signed agreements with international service partners to recruit top-flight, sci-tech personnel.
The signing ceremony was followed by a series of keynote speeches delivered by four sci-tech innovation leaders, clarifying the opportunities and challenges facing Lin-gang and outlining details on the development of a talent cultivation system.
A roundtable forum was also held, centering on the plans for Lin-gang to emerge as a sci-tech innovation hub and to enhance the quality of its workforce.
At the signing ceremony, over 10 top HR consultancies were recognized as international service partners, including Shanghai Foreign Service Co Ltd, Michael Page (Shanghai) Recruitment Co Ltd and Randstad China.
They're expected to help provide impetus to the overall recruitment drive to find top people, based on the strength of their know-how and advantages in global and digital services.
