On March 21, Guangzhou held "An Evening in Guangzhou," a promotional event for foreign consulates and business delegations from Hong Kong.
Lin Keqing, chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Party secretary of Guangzhou, welcomed the attendees and highlighted Guangzhou's role as a national central city and as the core engine of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
David Whitwam, chairman of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, highlighted the close relationship between Guangzhou and Auckland and emphasized potential opportunities to strengthen economic and trade exchanges with the Greater Bay Area.
