Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon wins new title

Recently, the 4th General Meeting of the Tourism Chamber of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce was held in Beijing.

At the meeting, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area was awarded the Vice Chairman unit of the Tourism Chamber of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Ms Luo Siqing was elected to be the Vice Chairman.

In recent years, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area has made persistent efforts to innovate tourism products. In 2016, it built the world’s first high-altitude canyon pedestrian glass bridge, attracting tourists in droves with its unique charm.

Even during the period of Covid-19, the scenic spot has developed the world’s highest commercial bungee jump at 260 meters, which has become the top travel project on the internet, and its broadcast volume in the vertical category of Douyin ranks first in China.

Projects with a deep sense of experience like glass slides, zip lines, and Via Ferrada are also sought after by tourists.

In the future, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area will take a multi-pronged approach through management innovation, project creation, humanistic empowerment, and the creation of 5A level and national leisure resorts, adhere to innovation and development, make full use of the stunning scenery and geographical resources of the Grand Canyon to make itself a 5A level tourism scenic area, accelerate the integration of tourism + sports + recreation and leisure resort + study tour, thus contributing to Zhangjiajie’s effort to be a world-class tourist destination.
