South Korean premium marque Genesis has started sales of its first electric vehicle built based on its dedicated platform — the Genesis GV60, available in two variants.
Prices for the luxury specification start at 285,800 yuan ($41,526) and the ultimate luxury sells from 351,800 yuan.
The SUV is based on the Electric-Global Modular Platform, powered by a 76.4 kilowatt-hour battery.
It offers drivers a range of up to 645 kilometers under China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle conditions.
The luxury trim package is equipped with rear-wheel drive as standard, with the option of all-wheel drive to generate 233.9 kW of power.
The ultimate luxury trim comes with all-wheel drive as standard, but is available in an all-wheel drive performance package to take maximum power to 360 kW.
The Genesis GV60 comes with convenient multi-input charging, including 400 volt and 800 V multi-charging, and supports a supply of up to 350 kW.
This includes fast charging that can get the battery charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
