The Nansha branch of the Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Center opened on March 14, marking solid progress in the construction of Nansha's intellectual property public service system.
Located in Guangdong Medical Valley, the branch will not only enable Nansha-based biopharmaceutical enterprises to handle patent confirmations in a shorter time period, but will also provide all enterprises in Guangdong with comprehensive IPR services.
These services include patent pre-examination and offering patent rights knowledge in order to support the high-quality development of science and technology innovation.
The Nansha branch is the first sub-center that the Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Center has sent staff to, so they can provide services on site. This was done because Nansha has gathered a large quantity of high-tech enterprises to accelerate the development of the bio-pharmaceutical and artificial intelligence industries.
Being the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nansha district is now striving towards the goal of building a major strategic platform that is based in the Greater Bay Area and coordinates with Hong Kong and Macao.
