The China Outsourcing Summit 2023 is to be held in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province on March 21-23, according to a news conference jointly arranged by the Ministry of Commerce and the Wuhan government on March 14.
As China's only professional service outsourcing summit with international influence, the China Outsourcing Summit has been held eleven times previously in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
Featuring nine major meetings and three themed activities, the summit this time is said to boost larger exhibition areas, more participants and more exhibits than before, and is expected to help more college graduates to find jobs.
A digital service and service outsourcing technology product transaction exhibition will be held in an area of 10,000 square meters to showcase new achievements, products, technologies, business models and demands in service outsourcing.
In recent years, Wuhan's comprehensive innovative ability has been strengthened and now ranks fifth in the nation, with the growth rate of the information technology solutions, artificial intelligence and airplane repair sectors exceeding 90 percent.
In 2009, it was selected among China's first batch of service outsourcing demonstration cities, and in 2020 and 2022, it became a pilot zone for service trade innovation and the further opening-up of trade in services.
"March is when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Wuhan, welcome to visit the city to admire flowers and taste delicacies!" said an official from the Wuhan municipal bureau of commerce.
Statistics show that by March 14, more than 1,000 units had signed up for the upcoming summit. Government department representatives of 37 service outsourcing demonstration cities will also attend the event.
