On March 8, the 10th New Energy Application and Smart Energy Innovation and Development Summit Forum was held in Changsha. The forum focused on the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, had an in-depth analysis of the development status of the industry, and actively explored the path of industrial development to tackle development problems.
At the forum, experts and scholars from the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, the China Electric Power Construction Association, the Hunan Provincial Energy Administration and the Hunan Renewable Energy Society made keynote speeches, focusing on themes such as "Current status and development trends of offshore wind power equipment", "Promoting digital transformation of the electric power construction industry", and "Current status and prospects of China's photovoltaic industry".
During the forum, a series of activities were also held, including themed speeches, dialogues with guests, an exhibition on the latest product achievements of new energy and renewable energy technologies, and matchmaking activities relating to new energy projects. Experts, scholars and business representatives had in-depth discussions on cutting-edge ideas, technologies and models in the fields of new energy and renewable energy. The forum was actively served as a bridge of communication among enterprises, governments, universities and research institutions, and promoted the integrated development of government, industry, education, research and application.
The forum was hosted by the Hunan Renewable Energy Society and the Hunan Electrotechnical Society. It aims to deeply follow the new arrangements and requirements for high-quality energy development made by the 20th CPC National Congress, offer suggestions for the high-quality and large-scale development of Hunan's renewable energy, and provide participants with practical and concrete think-tank information. Over 300 experts and scholars in the fields of industry, education, research, and finance attended the forum, and thousands of people watched a live broadcast of the event online.
