BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League (CSL) club Chengdu Rongcheng said on Wednesday that they are certain of passing the league's entry check after settling an unspecified issue.
The Chengdu club said in a brief statement that the issue "left over from the past" has been properly dealt with, guaranteeing the club's entry to this season's CSL before the deadline.
Chengdu, alongside CSL clubs Shenzhen FC and Guangzhou City, were left out of the debt-free club list which was released by the Chinese Football Association on Monday.
The Chengdu outfit is currently training in South Korea ahead of the upcoming CSL campaign. ■
