In February 2014, China proposed a major decision to promote the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. In 2022, the total economy of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province surpassed 10 trillion yuan ($1.44 trillion). Over the past nine years, the overall strength of the region has reached a new level, reflecting a new atmosphere of coordinated development.
