On Mar 1, the launching ceremony for the action plan to improve the business environment of electricity consumption in Nansha district, Guangzhou, was held in Nansha International Talent Port. On the same day, a number of low-altitude remote sensing data service products were also launched.
The action plan proposes deepening comprehensive cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It involves 20 reform and innovation initiatives, including building an advanced smart grid and a digital grid. It also aims to streamline administration and delegate power, improve regulations, and upgrade services.
In order to continuously improve the efficiency of public services, the action plan will implement the joint operation of all municipal public infrastructure projects, such as electricity, water, gas, heat and networks.
At the same time, the Guangzhou electricity supply bureau will introduce full electronic registration, so that companies will no longer have to provide all sorts of cumbersome materials for different purposes.
Nansha will also strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the electricity industries in Hong Kong and Macao to provide convenient services to local residents. It will also continuously promote the integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
In 2023, Nansha plans to launch an international electricity payment system that will give local companies the flexibility to choose the currency in which to pay their electricity bills.
