The Wuhan digital economy application scenario match-making conference was held on March 1 in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).
The conference was organized by the Wuhan digital economy development commission, and was jointly hosted by the Wuhan municipal bureau of economy and informatization and the administrative committee of WEDZ.
The first batch of 10 digital economy application scenarios was released at the event, and 15 major project agreements were signed, of which seven settled in the zone. These projects involve the construction of digitalized and green manufacturing bases, smart plants, the management of smart industrial parks, and other areas.
Aiming to be a first-tier digital economy city in China, Wuhan has launched its campaign to promote digital economy application scenario innovation since December 2021. In May last year, the city issued its five-year plan on digital economy development, which deploys work in five aspects – digital industries, digital integration, digital governance, and data resources.
