Huangpu optimizes travel to Baiyun airport

At the end of 2022, the intercity rail transit from Xintang via Guangzhou International Baiyun Airport to Guangzhou North Station completed its full track layout and accelerated follow-up construction work, which is expected to be finished later this year.

The intercity rail transit is located in the northeast of Guangzhou, starting from Xintang South Station. It passes through Baiyun airport on its way to Guangzhou North Station, which will become one of the fastest routes from China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) to Baiyun airport.

The line is about 78 kilometers long in total, will feature 13 stations, and will pass through Huadu, Baiyun, Huangpu, and Zengcheng districts in Guangzhou.

After it is put into operation, it will take only three stations from CSGKC to Baiyun Airport, eight stations to Guangzhou North Station, four stations to Guangzhou East Station, and 40 minutes to Hong Kong.
