The Harbin Time-honored Enterprise Association was established in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province on Feb 15.
The association is a non-profit social organization approved by the Harbin civil affairs bureau and has one chairman unit, seven honorary chairman units, and 17 vice-chairman units.
The association aims to help time-honored brands preserve their unique skills and build a bridge between the government and enterprises.
At present, Harbin is home to 23 Chinese time-honored enterprises, accounting for 70 percent of the province's total, and 78 Heilongjiang time-honored brand enterprises, accounting for 60 percent of the province's total.
Harbin also has a large number of time-honored brands at the municipal level. It is the "golden brand" of Heilongjiang province and an indispensable force in the vitalization and development of the province.
