Michelin office building reopens in Hongqiao

The office building Michelin Group's China headquarters recently reopened after renovation in Hongqiao Linkong Economic Park, which is located in the Changning Area of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District.

The office building's renovation project started in September 2022, and was completed in January 2023. The project was intended to create a more collaborative, more digital, more diverse and more sustainable working environment for employees, and is expected to help employees adapt to new working methods.

Michelin Group, a French tire and mobility company, entered the Chinese market in 1989 and set up its Chinese headquarters in Shanghai.

The year 2024 will be the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Shanghai plans to continue to create a first-class business environment and fully support the growth and development of French-funded enterprises in the region, including Michelin.

Meanwhile, Michelin Group also plans to give full play to its own advantages by contributing to the construction of the Hongqiao International Open Hub and enhancing the industrial capacity and competitiveness of Shanghai.
