The 2023 Wuhan sci-tech technology transfer activity (automobile and optoelectronic information) took place in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on Feb 23.
A total of 36 automobile and optoelectronic technology transfer project agreements were signed at the event, involving investments that total 240 million yuan ($35.02 million). Among them were seven 10-million-yuan projects, and five projects that have settled in WEDZ.
This is Wuhan's first large-scale technology transfer event of the year, and these agreements will inject new momentum for Wuhan to become a nationally influential sci-tech innovation center.
Three pilot testing platforms based in the zone also officially began operation during the event.
Liu Ziqing, secretary of the working committee of WEDZ, spoke at the activity and said that the zone will serve these projects in an all-round way, and offer them the best business environment.
