The local government of Wuxi started hosting a series of business promotions in Shenzhen, Hongkong and Macao on Feb 18, which will run until Feb 24.
As part of the event, a delegation from Wuxi National Hi-tech District led by its Party Secretary Cui Rongguo left for Shenzhen on Feb 18, aiming to deepen and expand practical cooperation between each other and promote new development opportunities.

In May 2022, a business delegation led by WND's government officials visited key enterprises in Shenzhen. During the trip, a total of 25 enterprises from the Greater Bay Area signed an agreement to invest in WND, including four enterprises from Guangzhou and 21 from Shenzhen. They work in various emerging industries such as the internet of things, integrated circuits, biomedicine, intelligent equipment, new energy, software and digital creativity, and artificial intelligence.
Shenzhen Han's Robot Co has set up a professional team integrating new product research, development, production, assembly, and marketing in WND after establishing its East China headquarters there last year. The company is now promoting the construction of its East China High-end Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Park in WND, which covers more than 100 mu (6.67 hectares).
Hong Kong-listed CITIC Pacific signed an agreement to spend 2 billion yuan ($290.89 million) establishing a new energy investment and operation headquarters in WND on Jan 20. The project will engage in the investment, management, and operation of new energy power plant projects to accelerate the development of the district's new energy industry.
