58.com Inc, China's largest classified online marketplace, signed an agreement to build its local services and automotive services headquarters in Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Feb 18.
The two headquarters will be located in the Wuxi (National) Software Park as independent buildings. 58 Local Services is a leading life service-to-home platform in China, while 58 Automotive Services is a top player in the automotive trading and service platform. Both projects are at the forefront of their respective industries and are well-known brands and leading companies in their chains.
Wuxi Mayor Zhao Jianjun attended the signing ceremony and briefly discussed the development of Wuxi.
Zhao mentioned that as a leading full-category life service platform in China, 58.com Inc is a leader in terms of both market share and social recognition. In recent years, the group has carried out multiple collaborations with Wuxi and made significant contributions to local economic and social development.
Zhao added that Wuxi is currently working to develop the digital economy and digital transformation and will offer its full support and strong services for the partnership. The two new projects of 58.com Inc are expected to quickly achieve high-level localization and development and explore more practical and market-oriented application scenarios around key areas such as the internet of things, intelligent transformation, e-commerce, and people's livelihood services in Wuxi.
