The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province – is on the move when it comes to recruiting people from across the country.
It held a series of jobs fairs and organized special recruitment activities on Feb 18-24 in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, to provide employment opportunities for college graduates and attract talent there.
A total of 31 businesses offered some 3,000 positions at Wuhan University, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the Wuhan University of Technology.
The Hefei high-tech zone has launched six university recruitment drives for this spring, involving over 60 colleges and universities in 20 cities.

Moreover, the zone has actively engaged with universities nationwide and has provided detailed information about resident companies and favorable policies to attract more staff members.
"As a newly established company, we were confused in terms of recruitment channels and the Hefei high-tech zone has provided various recruitment plans for us," said an employee at Guoke New Energy Anhui Co Ltd, who said he was very satisfied with the Wuhan trip.
In the event, 31 enterprises – including Chinese artificial intelligence pioneer iFlytek and the Institute of Advanced Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China – received a total of 564 resumes and made preliminary job offers to 331 people, including 27 with doctorates, 127 with master's degrees and 177 undergraduates.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Hefei high-tech zone to carry out more recruitment drives in universities nationwide and offer some 20,000 jobs from over 300 employers.
