Sources from the Guiyang bureau of commerce on Feb 13 suggested that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) allowed two officials from the CCPIT Guiyang Sub-Council to issue commercial certificates.
The move facilitated Guiyang's high-level opening-up to the outside world.
Commercial certificates are issued by CCPIT and its sub-councils for many kinds of international trade in services, cargo, technologies, international property rights, as well as foreign investments, lawsuits and maritime affairs. The certificate has been widely recognized by governments, customs, chambers of commerce and enterprises from more than 200 countries and regions.
It also plays an important role in the nation's Belt and Road Initiative in terms of acquiring visas, investor identification, and business dispute addressing.
