Tablet shipments reached around 8.66 million in the Chinese market in the fourth quarter of 2022, up 16.7 percent year-on-year, ithome.com reported on Wednesday citing data from IDC.
During the same period, China's consumer market for tablets grew 25.8 percent year-on-year, while the commercial market fell 40.3 percent.
Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi and Lenovo were among the top five tablet manufactures in the Chinese market in Q4, 2022, according to ithome.com, while Apple remained the top player.
The average unit price for tablets in the Chinese market increased 1.7 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, compared with the previous quarter.
For the whole year of 2022, China's tablet market shipments grew by 5.2 percent year-on-year, recording four consecutive years of growth.
