Recently, the 2023 Zhangjiajie Online Lunar New Year’s Shopping Festival concluded successfully. A total of 31,600 kinds of annual commodities were provided, with a sales volume of 123 million yuan, including 38.69 million yuan for online sales and 14.3 million yuan for agricultural products sales.
The event lasted from December 30, 2022 to February 5, 2023. The local commerce department actively guided e-commerce and related enterprises to provide procurement convenience for people, avoid crowds of people coming to purchase the New Year goods, and further play the positive role of e-commerce in the active consumer market.
An online New Year festival platform was built to bring many markets like Zhangjiajie Many Supermarket and catering enterprises together, which really facilitated residents to realize one-stop shopping.
During the event, apart from 5 traditional retail enterprises and more than 100 supply chain enterprises, more than 20 catering enterprises, hotels, scenic spots and other service enterprises also participated.
It not only provided convenience for the public, but also brought online convenience to tourists for food, stay, travel, purchase and entertainment. And various promotional activities were launched on the online platform.
Also, training sessions for Internet celebrities were launched, and the douyin livestreaming marketing competition was held at the same time. A Douyin supply chain for Zhangjiajie goods was built, and awards were set up for livestreaming talents to encourage local Internet celebrities and livestreaming enterprises to participate in the event.
