British premium carmaker Jaguar Land Rover launched its Defender 130 last week in China, as the third and largest member of its top-level off-roader family. The model measures 5,358 millimeters in length, 2,105 mm in width and 1,970 mm in height.
The eight-seat model has a wheelbase of 3,022 mm and boasts a luggage space of up to 1,232 liters. In terms of performance, it sports a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, with a maximum output of 400 horsepower and its top torque stands at 550 Nm.
Despite its size, it can accelerate from zero to 100 km/hour in 6.6 seconds. The Defender features the carmaker's 2nd-generation Terrain Response system, which allows the vehicle to deal with different road conditions.
If necessary, it can elevate its chassis by 70 mm to cope with extreme outdoor conditions, bringing its maximum ground clearance to 290 mm. In addition, the Defender 130 has a wading depth of 900 mm.
