Guangdong released the regulations for promoting the development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin today (Feb 8), which will take effect on March 1.

The regulations clarify the responsibilities of the Management Committee and Executive Committee and emphasize the Zone's communication and collaboration with Macao on talent recruitment, arbitration, public service and other aspects.

The regulations aim to provide a strong legal underpinning to the development of the Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, promote long-term prosperity and stability in Macao and better integrate Macao into the overall development of the country.
