WND seeks cooperation with Barcelona

A delegation from Wuxi New District, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, attended the seventh IOT Solutions World Congress, which was held in Barcelona, Spain from Jan 31 to Feb 2.

The WND delegation met with IOTSWC's organizing committee members and representatives from four participating enterprises that plan to build a presence in China during the event.

The director of the organizing committee gave a detailed introduction of the IOT industry in Barcelona, as well as expressed hope to have further exchanges and cooperation with Wuxi's IOT enterprises.

Wuxi is reputed as China's Hometown of IOT and hosts the World IOT Congress every year. "We expect to start a dialogue between the two events," noted the director.

The delegation also held a business negotiation activity with the member businesses of the digital alliance in Catalonia.

WND will also organize local IOT businesses to participate in the online meetings of the IOTSWC to promote the IOT industries in China to go global.

The IOTSWC, IoT World Congress in the United States, and the China Wuxi World IOT Congress are called the three IOT congresses in the world. This year, the IOTSWC attracted more than 300 exhibitors from over 120 countries to showcase their top-notch IOT solutions.

WND is home to more than 1,500 IOT enterprises. A complete IOT industrial chain highlighting sensor equipment design and manufacturing, as well as data collection and transmission has taken shape in the district.
